Following the success of last year’s inaugural festival, we are happy to announce a new lineup of events for this year’s event. In addition to our programme of talks workshops and concerts, this year we are adding a yoga workshop, as well as screening the inspirational documentary Spirit of a Runner.

Festival Speakers
Mangala Keenan
Mangala will open this year’s festival with a talk titled The Joy of Self-Discovery, sharing her experiences on how through meditation one can uncover a joy that comes from the deepest part of your being, as well as giving some practical exercises for the audience to take home and try for themselves.
Originally from Russia, she has been giving meditation classes in Dublin for over ten years.
Sadanand Magee
For Sadanand, music and meditation are inseperable, and he will be giving 2 meditation-themed talks and workshops during the festival, as well as performing in the festival concert.
An accomplished percussionist, he has toured over 15 countries with the international Songs of the Soul ensemble, and indeed will be performing in the upcoming Songs of the Soul concert in the RDS on November 12.
Kanala Auer
Kanala was a guest musician in our inauguaral festival last year, and liked it so much he is again travelling from Austria to be part of this year’s festival. Over the past 15 years he has given many concerts of meditation music as well as many workshops on meditation, music and creativity.
Rajnandini Flood and Elena Agarkova
Rajnandini and Elena are resident yoga teachers at Lotus Yoga, and have also been students of meditation master Sri Chinmoy for many years. Yoga and meditation have a shared history going back millenia – yoga teachers Rajnandini and Elena show how one can move from the physical postures of yoga to discover the inner joys of meditation.
Nirbhasa Magee
Nirbhasa will be giving a talk titled Meditation: The Practical Problem-Solver. Meditation is often thought of as an escape from the world, but in reality this ancient art is a way to gain the inner strength needed to deal with life’s problems.
